Edward Slingerland（森舸澜教授） 现任英属哥伦比亚大学亚洲研究教授、中国思想与涉身认知研究所所长、哲学与心理学会成员、宗教历史数据库主任。 曾就读普林斯顿、斯坦福、加州大学伯克利分校，精研中国古代思想，功底深厚，是东西方哲学宗教思想比较、认知科学等领域的世界知名专家。 主要研究方向：战国时期中国哲学思想、宗教思想比较、认知科学与宗教演变、认知语言学（概念整合隐喻理论）、伦理学（德性伦理学、道德心理学）、进化心理学、人文与自然科学的关系、古典汉语等。森舸澜曾发表一大批学术文章，出版多部专著，如《科学与人文科学》（What Science Offers the Humanities）等，还翻译出版了孔子的《论语》（Analects）等。
